Request for Proposals: Parent Support Program Evaluation

Request for Proposals for Research Partner

CCFY is seeking a qualified Research Partner to conduct an evaluation of its Parent Support Program (PSP), an innovative partnership with the NYC Department of Probation that provides Peer Coaches for the parents of system-involved youth. Through a grant from the O’Neill Foundation, CCFY will commission an evaluation of this exciting new program.

CCFY seeks a Research Partner to conduct the following scope of work over a two-year period: (1) Develop a research design, which includes developing a theory of change, a logic model, and ensuring the variables to be tracked and data collection methods are clearly defined and programmed into CCFY’s MIS database; (2) Conduct a qualitative evaluation to examine what practices make the Parent Coaches effective, as well as measuring the outcomes for family members and youth served by the program; (3) Conduct a quantitative data analysis of outcomes for families served by the program vis-à-vis a comparison group of similarly-situated parents; (4) Produce a final evaluation report that will be distributed in the field.

Proposals to evaluate the Parent Support Program (PSP) should not exceed $50,000.
