Geoff Davenport is the founding President of the Board of Directors for Community Connections for Youth, and is now CCFY’s Deputy Director and Chief Financial Officer. Geoff has extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, with expertise in program design and evaluation, administration and finance, regulatory compliance, and governance. He has held senior management positions in several high-performing not-for-profit organizations, including Make the Road New York, Achievement First, and the Brooklyn Cooperative Federal Credit Union. Further, Geoff has held positions on the Boards of Directors of CCFY, the NYU Public Interest Law Foundation, and the Growing Up Green Charter School. In 2006, Geoff earned a J.D. from New York University School of Law and an M.P.A. from New York University’s Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. After completing his graduate education, he was awarded the prestigious Skadden Fellowship to provide advocacy and legal services to low-income, immigrant families.
