On Friday, September 21st, CCFY released its report documenting the work of its Community Mentor Planning Institute in San Diego, CA. The report release, which can be downloaded here, coincides with the 1st Annual Community Mentor Summit in San Diego. The Summit brings together community members, service providers, and law enforcement agencies to advance the growing Credible Messenger movement. The report contains policy recommendations for implementing a genuine community-driven approach to liberating youth from the juvenile justice system.
